Mitchelle Park Zoo

Every day of the year could feel like a holiday, especially if you make your way to Mitchell Park. Named after Sir Charles Bullen Hugh Mitchell, the park was established in the early half of the century as an ostrich farm. Today Mitchell Park has a whole host of small animals and birds for you to visit, including crocodiles, buck, raccoons, cranes, monkeys and tortoises. There is a walk-through aviary that allows you to get close-up views of many beautiful bird varieties.

The experience was wonderful, indeed they have valued their place accordingly. You get to cook or braai in the premises.Host is very responsive and very helpful. Was able to extend my stay. Enjoyed my stay.I enjoy always booking at Hampton Collections. I have visited both 3 properties and have experience 4 of theit different rooms during different times.I highly recommend their property. No hassles when it comes to check in

The booking was made easy and when we got there it was as it is on the pictures, house keeping lady very friendly, the host Kesh checked up on us when we got there and also during our stay (via phone obviously), he made our stay very comfortable, should I visit Dbn again I'm definitely coming there again.

This accommodation is safe and secure and it actually is the same place as advertised as per the photos posted. It is in a quiet neighborhood at a cul de sac, no to little traffic and no noises or loud music during the day or at night time. This place are guarded by security guards inside and outside the premises and the electric wire fensing surrounds the entire boundary of this premises. Burglar bars and burglar gates installed here. The air conditioner is convenient for temperature control. The interior is modern, practical, convenient and awesomely beautiful and this place has all the necessary kitchen and other utensils with toaster, microwave, gasstove and oven and fridge with deepfridge. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and powder milk are provided. Dinning table set, livingroom furniture and big screen tv made the stay so comfortable. Ironing equipment, 3point and 2point plugs are installed in the bedrooms. The place is spotlessly need, no roaches and no monkeys at this premises or in the area. The yard is beautiful, mostly paved with a few plants, garden furniture, cleaning equipment and resources, laundry equipment and resources in the back side laundry room, 4 washing lines outside in the yard and a swimming pool made our stay very comfortable for us as a family with 2 teens. Private, secure and dedicated parking spot is inside the yard for each unit, it's very safe behind the electronic motor gate. No chance for a bypassed or thief to intrude unless if they want to be met with electrocution by the electric fence. Cleaning is done daily and linen towels are changed daily, even washing the dishes and top up the sunlight liquid. This is a real gem and it's very close to Windermere mall where you can get the basic necessities and also for purchasing or ordering fastfood within a 5km radius. The (cleaning/managing) staff are very friendly, helpful, humble and immediate available if you need them or anything else. Thank you Hampton Collection 12B for an amazing staycation in Durban, I praise GOD.

Beautiful apartment , clean and well looked after. For some reason, the lights tripped during the night, but there was still plug power. The kitchen has all the usual except it also has a coffee pod machine, you might want to keep a few normal coffee sachets and milk for the down to earth guest. Otherwise a great stay.

We had a fantastic three-night stay at the Hampton, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the seamless check-in and check-out process left us in awe. The location is perfect, with proximity to the beach, restaurants, and malls, making it an ideal getaway. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the well-kept rooms with a clean and well-equipped kitchen, just as depicted on the website. This has become one of our favorite places, and we will undoubtedly be returning regularly. Big thanks to Keshav and the entire team! 💜

Our stay at the Hampton Collection was great !!! The rooms were tastefully decorated and clean with all the amenities that we required. The location was great and close to Florida road where there are plenty bars and restaurants. Our hosts Keshav and Nish graciously helped us out and gave us some great advice on things to do in Durban

I had an amazing stay! Kesh and Nish are wonderful hosts. The check in process was smooth and effortless. I appreciated the constant communication throughout my stay, ensuring that I was comfortable and well settled in. The location of this apartment is perfect, with so many bars and restaurants around within walking distance. The room itself was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The Place Was Beautiful and i felt like crying when it was time to leave. It is comfortable and it felt like home. The location is Lovely and everything is a walking distance.I loved every moment of my stay and if my next trip is Durban i am most definitely coming there again.

I visited someone staying at the Hampton Collection. So impressed by the accommodation. The rooms were so spacious and modern and had such personal touches. Amazing to see such a beautiful and quaint place in Durban so close to Florida Road.

A home away from home. This was a very spacious unit with all the amenities you need. A bonus was the super fast Wi-Fi. Great space if you are working from home. A nice 5 minute walk away from the bustling Florida road and less than 10 min to the beach. Just the perfect location. Looking forward to coming back.

A truly stunning home 🏡 ✨ with amazing hosts💯. The house is clean, modern, well maintained, perfect peaceful location, great indoor entertainment, great workspace and amazing finishes. With such already beautiful photos, I personally don’t understand how this place is unquestionably 10x better in person but the hosts pulled it off. The hosts themselves are absolutely wonderful and friendly people who are always quick to respond to any questions or requests. The Hampton Collection is a definitely a 10 out of 10 for me🙌🏽

Beautiful place located close to Florida road, exactly neighborhood and location what we looked for. Very safe and peaceful place. Inside we had our one parking, pool and place to bray and enjoy. Inside everything is new and clean very beautiful, more then enough space. It was our pleasure meeting owner too. It was much more than we expected.

Our stay at the Hamptons was nothing short of amazing.....wow !!!! I cannot even express it in words. The hosts were sooo amazing ,their patience and understanding was out of this world. They were quick to reply,always on call and catered to our needs without hesitation. The house was beautiful, neat and truly felt like home away from home.You get there and find everything that you need....
